Overview
We are looking for a Telecommunications Engineer to join our Connectivity team which delivers best-in-class solutions for business and industrial network architecture design and support. This role is open to candidates across experience levelsfrom early-career professionals to seasoned expertswith responsibilities and expectations tailored accordingly.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design operation and optimization of secure scalable network solutions. As experience grows the role expands to include strategic decision-making mentoring and participation in industry communities.


Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary based on experience level but may include:

  • Architect design operate and troubleshoot complex network environments.
  • Analyze traffic flows logs and data captures for event correlation and performance insights.
  • Translate technical requirements into business terms and collaborate with internal teams vendors and partners.
  • Engineer evaluate test and support network hardware and software.
  • Deliver secure resilient services and maintain high standards of reliability and performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and participate in technology selection and lifecycle management.
  • Support agile and rapid service delivery initiatives.
  • Monitor systems and implement alerts and automation for proactive issue resolution.
  • Facilitate cross-service collaboration and ensure business continuity.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Participate in education and training efforts including virtual formats.
  • Contribute to process design configuration management and capacity planning.
  • Apply industry-standard governance and systems management practices.


Qualifications
We welcome applicants with a range of backgrounds. The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Computer Science Engineering or related field.
  • Understanding of network technologies routing protocols and network security.
  • Familiarity with orchestration and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and customer engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.


Experience-Based Expectations
Level 1 (Entry):

  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute under guidance.
  • Exposure to tools and processes through hands-on experience.

Level 2 (Intermediate):

  • Demonstrated ability to manage components of network operations.
  • Minimal oversight required; growing autonomy in problem-solving.
  • Expanding knowledge of tools technologies and processes.

Level 3 (Advanced/Expert):

  • Recognized SME in one or more areas of connectivity.
  • Strategic input into technology direction vendor partnerships and long-term planning.
  • Mentorship of junior engineers and participation in external technical communities.
