Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Telecommunications Permit Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the permitting process for telecommunications projects ensuring compliance with local state and federal regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills strong communication abilities and a thorough understanding of permitting procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the permitting process for telecommunications projects.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications to relevant authorities.
  • Track the status of permit applications and ensure timely approvals.
  • Ability to use judgement on when to increase pressure on AHJs
  • Maintain accurate records of all permit applications approvals and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations.
  • Provide regular updates to project teams on the status of permits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of permitting strategies to streamline processes.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in permit coordination preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of permitting processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and permit tracking software. SmartSheet experience is a plus.
  • 1-2 years experience working in AutoCAD
