Technology and Metrology Engineering Program Manager Display

For new technologies we focus on metrology development and design characterization. The team takes on a multitude of display imaging u0026 sensing technologies across all product lines. We are looking for an expert technical leader with experience in Display hardware to join the team championing calibration and test strategy through engagement in early stages of technology development. If you have broad experience across key hardware technologies a strong product/customer focus experience guiding sophisticated programs through the development process and the ability to distill tradeoffs down to key factors and drive critical technology and product decisions wed love to hear from you.

The Technology Program Office in Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) champions technology calibration and test strategy while balancing between quality/customer experience with operational this highly cross functional role we are looking for leaders to engage in early stages of technology development supporting prototyping design validation simulation u0026 metrology development activities as well as identifying mass production intent solutions. This would require proactively driving alignment and convergence plan with cross functional teams identifying risks u0026 mitigating them all while presenting frequently to senior leadership across Apple.

Strategic Alignment u0026 Roadmap Influence: Work proactively with key HWTE technology stakeholders in Europe US and Asia to review and understand technology/module roadmaps. Ensure strategic alignment between new technology investments and the development of appropriate scalable and forward-looking metrology Partnership: Establish continuously maintain and nurture robust functional partnerships with key stakeholders across Apple (Engineering Operations Product and Research) - across timezones and continents Engineering Product and other cross-functional teams Program Execution: Oversee and drive successful execution of metrology development and algorithm pipelines from concept through to mass production for complex technologies. Proactively identify and drive resolution of technical risks working with engineering leads to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plansnProgram u0026 Meeting Ownership: Own end-to-end project delivery ensuring accurate completion while maintaining high quality standards through meticulous testing and validation processes. Own and drive critical meetings technical reviews and program updates with senior leaders and cross-functional partners ensuring clear communication documented actions and decisive outcomes. Establish and drive quarterly roadmap u0026 prioritization reviews with HWTE leadership -Functional Collaboration: Champion best practices in program management risk management and cross-functional communication to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes across globally distributed Excellence: Serve as a central point of communication for program status risks and decisions tailoring communication appropriately for diverse audiences including executive leadership.

Bachelors Degree in EE CE or related fieldn5 years relevant industry experience in display technologies nKnowledge of display and optical technology fundamentals

Background in display optical design and optical-sensing technologiesnUnderstanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systemsnKnowledge of statistical data analysis design process and test FMEAnHigh volume consumer electronics calibration testing and manufacturing experiencenTechnical leadership and/or project management experience with excellent oral and written communication skillsnAbility to bring focus and transparency to complex situations while monitoring the bigger picture and the needs of a rapid development cycle
