Responsibilities

• Work is performed in both laboratory and manufacturing environments and requires exposure to production equipment moving machinery heat and moderate noise levels while following all required PPE and safety procedures

• Read and interpret engineering drawings customer specifications technical data sheets and manufacturing documentation to perform required inspections.

• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment including calipers micrometers height gauges squares depth gauges pin gauges and other inspection tools.

• Conduct incoming in-process first article and final inspections to verify product compliance with customer and internal quality requirements.

• Prepare laboratory samples by cutting material using the appropriate saw equipment and preparing specimens for mechanical testing.

• Operate tensile testing equipment and perform tensile testing in accordance with established procedures.

• Perform hardness testing using approved hardness testing equipment (e.g. Webster Barcol or equivalent) as required.

• Collect label and retain quality samples to ensure traceability in accordance with company procedures.

The pay for this position is $24.72 - $25.34 If you are hired your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations skills education and/or addition to those factors we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
