UCTis looking for a talentedTechnician IVto join us inPhoenix AZ!

TheTechnician IVis an advanced technical contributor supportingChemline and Blast Level IV operationswithin UCTs SSB services environment. This role performs complex chemical processing precision blasting and detailed inspection of semiconductor chamber components ensuring ultraâclean surfaces and strict adherence to contamination control standards.

This position leads assigned process lines approves production documentation and test results and partners with engineering and quality teams to support process development firstâarticle qualifications and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performadvanced chemical cleaning stripping and surface preparationof semiconductor chamber parts using controlled chemistries and processes
  • Executeprecision blasting (media grit or specialty blasting)to remove deposition without damaging part integrity
  • Prepare monitor and adjustchemical tanks and process chemistriesfollowing strict recipes and controls
  • Performincoming inâprocess and final inspections ensuring parts meet UHP cleanliness and defect criteria
  • Review andapprove travelers test data and Certificates of Analysis (CoA)supporting validated cleaning processes
  • Lead assignedChemline and Blast production lines prioritizing work and ensuring throughput and quality targets are met
  • Supportfirstâarticle processing R&D trials and new process introductionin partnership with engineering
  • Identify and escalateprocess deviations contamination risks or quality escapes driving rootâcause resolution
  • Ensure properhandling storage and disposal of hazardous chemicalsin compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Follow strictcleanroom protocols and contamination control practices
  • Train and mentor junior technicians; may providetechnical direction as a line lead
  • Participate incontinuous improvement initiativesto enhance process capability reduce defects and improve cycle time
  • Maintain accurate documentation and production records in accordance with quality systems
  • May supportcoating prep steps masking etching drying and bake operationsas required
  • Occasional local delivery or customer interaction as needed
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following:
    • Chemical processing / wet bench operations
    • Media blasting / surface prep (aerospace semiconductor coatings or similar)
    • Cleanroom manufacturing or contaminationâsensitive environments
  • Deep understanding ofprocess control chemical safety and contamination risksin precision manufacturing
  • Ability to interprettechnical work instructions process specs and quality documentation
  • Experience withSPC data logging and process validation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to workindependently on complex processes
  • Ability to lead workflows and providetechnical guidance to team members
  • Proficiency withbasic computer systems (Excel Word MES or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work crossâfunctionally
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Typically46 years of relevant experiencein:
    • Semiconductor services / chamber parts cleaning
    • Chemical processing plating or wet bench operations
    • Blasting coating prep or precision surface finishing
    • Aerospace medical device or other highâprecision industries (transferable)
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to obtainrespirator certification
  • Valid drivers license (if applicable to site needs)
  • Ability to lift up to50 lbsand stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to workovertime or flexible shiftsas needed
Work Environment
  • Cleanroom and production floor environment
  • Routine use ofhazardous chemicals and blasting equipment
  • Required use ofPPE including gowns gloves respirators and eye protection
  • Repetitive tasks includingwiping scrubbing masking blasting and material handling
