Job Summary
Leidos is currently seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our mission customer in the Linthicum MD area.
The Technical Writer will join a team whose mission is to provide cyber security support to the Nuclear Command and Control System (NCCS) organization within the Cyber Security Directorate (CSD).
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with daily weekly and monthly meetings and performance status.
Write meeting minutes from weekly technical meetings.
Update the weekly monthly and yearly spend plan tracker.
Update status briefings to include Gantt chart and schedule for bi-weekly brief to leadership.
Attend weekly meetings with team and provide minutes.
Update spreadsheet and Power Point briefs Project requirements and master plan and schedule.
Capture and update requirements matrix.
Update the SOW and reference documents for follow-on contract
Complete Data transfers from unclassified network to classified networks
Provide feedback on the contracting schedule for the program to remain in sync to project lead.
CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Education/Experience
8 years of experience as a technical writer in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred. Four (4) years of additional technical writer experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree. Masters Degree can reduce years of experience by 2 years.
Microsoft Excel Project PowerPoint experienced desired.
