Responsibilities

Create high-quality accurate 3D digital surface models that communicate conceptual design intent using Autodesk Alias or ICEM Surf
Develop digital surfaces from the concept stage through production-ready quality for tooling release
Advise on and recommend solutions to overcome design and engineering challenges
Contribute to a variety of projects including advanced design show cars and production vehicles
Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering teams to maintain design intent and production feasibility
Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution

Qualifications

8 years of surfacing experience with Alias or ICEM Surf in a top tier preferably production environment.
Class A or production experience
An understanding of visualization software Catia or Grasshopper is also beneficial
Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Automotive Design Industrial Design or a related field

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$159800 - $234410 USD

Compensation & Benefits:Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitivebenefits packageincluding medical dental and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays paid sick leave; and a401(k) retirementplan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time employees may alsoparticipatein Lucids equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards if applicable aredeterminedbased on individual performance role scope market considerations and overall company resultsin accordance withthe terms of the applicable plans.
