Job Summary

Koniag Emerging Technologies (KET) a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team supporting an Army customer in Adelphi MD. This position requires an active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and offers an opportunity to work on critical defense offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and role will focus on Program Management for Army projects providing comprehensive project management expertise for complex initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a single point of contact for assigned projects managing them from original concept through final implementation. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing large projects or significant segments of large complex projects for the customer. Principal responsibilities include:Serve as a single point of contact for assigned projects supporting them from original concept through final implementationAnalyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative alternative solutions involving finance scheduling technology methodology tools and solution componentsInterface with all areas affected by projects including end users stakeholders and project sponsorsReview requirements to define project scope and objectivesDevelop detailed work plans schedules project estimates resource plans and status reportsPlan and facilitate project meetings ensuring effective project tracking and analysisEnsure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverablesSupport integration of vendor tasks and tracking and reviewing of vendor deliverablesAcquire necessary computer network accesses compatible with unique Government Systems and softwareManage access to DISA Direct Order Entry (DDOE) and Telecom Inventor Billing Information (TIBI) Mission Planning Software Transportation Fuels and Logistics handlingPrepare and submit monthly DISA Direct Order Reports including details on equipment orders repair services and SIM card activationsTrack and report on accomplishments objectives funding expenditures Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and overall progressEnsure all team members adhere to required non-disclosure agreements and avoid conflicts of interestEducation and Experience:Required:Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Project Management or related technical field5 years of experience in technical project management preferably in defense or government environmentsExperience managing complex technical projects from concept through implementationDemonstrated experience with vendor management and integrationExperience with government ordering systems and processesStrong background in financial tracking and reporting for government projectsRequired Skills and Competencies:Active Top Secret clearanceProven ability to manage large projects or significant segments of large complex projectsStrong analytical skills to evaluate complex project-related problems and develop innovative solutionsExperience with project planning scheduling and resource allocationProficiency in developing detailed work plans schedules project estimates and status reportsExcellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordinationAbility to interface effectively with end users stakeholders and project sponsorsExperience with quality assurance processes and deliverable reviewsKnowledge of vendor management and integration processesFamiliarity with government systems including DISA Direct Order Entry and related platformsStrong reporting capabilities for financial and operational metricsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to non-disclosure requirementsUnderstanding of conflict of interest principles in government contractingOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy:The company is an equal opportunity employer.
