Job Overview
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager V to drive program execution and manage stakeholders schedules risks and dependencies for uLED backplane silicon programs from early development through high-volume manufacturing.
The TPM will work closely with internal cross-functional teams including uLED silicon test packaging product engineering and sourcing as well as external foundry and silicon vendor partners. This role will translate high-level vendor milestones into detailed task-level schedules track cross-functional dependencies facilitate two-way and three-way communication and ensure key decisions and actions are communicated to all impacted teams.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing complex hardware or silicon programs excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to bring structure and accountability to ambiguous fast-paced environments.
<.> ResponsibilitiesLead recurring meetings and program reviews across uLED test packaging sourcing and engineering teams.
Track decisions dependencies risks and action items.
Identify and resolve execution gaps before they require escalation.
Ensure stakeholders remain aligned on milestones priorities and deliverables.
Lead recurring meetings and program reviews with external foundry and silicon vendor partners.
Facilitate joint working sessions milestone reviews and face-to-face meetings.
Drive vendors to execute against defined technical and program requirements.
Maintain integrated program schedules connecting internal milestones with vendor commitments.
Identify schedule or execution misalignment early and drive corrective actions.
Maintain authoritative program trackers across internal and external workstreams.
Track milestones deliverables dependencies owners and due dates.
Prepare milestone status reports executive readouts and decision items for engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Provide clear visibility into program progress blockers and upcoming milestones.
Maintain a comprehensive risk register covering technical execution vendor delivery IP/confidentiality and schedule risks.
Develop and track mitigation plans with clearly assigned owners and resolution dates.
Escalate critical risks appropriately and provide concise risk summaries for leadership reviews.
8 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or equivalent project/program management experience in a hardware or silicon development environment.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Physics Materials Science or a related engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate execution across multiple engineering teams such as silicon hardware test packaging and product engineering.
Experience translating high-level commitments into actionable schedules with defined owners milestones and dates.
Experience working with external vendors contract manufacturers foundries or silicon partners.
Experience supporting hardware development phases such as prototype qualification and mass production.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience presenting program status risks and decisions to engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive decisions using incomplete or evolving information.
Demonstrated ability to follow through on action items and drive accountability across multiple stakeholders.
Comfortable working in ambiguous fast-paced environments with shifting requirements and tight launch timelines.
Experience supporting semiconductor programs across foundry OSAT or silicon vendor interfaces.
Familiarity with display silicon uLED or related electro-optical technologies.
Experience managing programs involving multiple external vendors.
Experience working across time zones with international foundry OSAT or vendor partners.
Working knowledge of program tracking and milestone reporting tools such as Smartsheet or Jira.
Experience translating engineering status and risk into concise briefings for sourcing and engineering leadership.
Experience supporting consumer device programs from prototype validation through mass production.
8 years of technical program/project management experience in hardware or silicon development.
Cross-functional hardware/silicon program execution including coordination across silicon hardware test packaging and related engineering teams.
External vendor/foundry management including integrated schedules milestones dependencies risks and deliverables.
