Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Technical Leadership
Technical Authority: Serve as the primary subject matter expert for mechanical sub-systems providing authoritative solutions for complex fleet issues escalated by the Service teams.
Influential Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects of moderate scope and risk. Build consensus among stakeholders and utilize expert persuasion to drive technical alignment across internal and external teams.
Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor elevating the capabilities of the team by providing guidance to less experienced engineers and fostering a high-performance culture.
Trend Analysis & Prevention: Work cross-functionally with Monitoring and Data teams to identify failure trends at an early stage. Support with implementing proactive technical strategies to mitigate risks before they evolve into significant business cost drivers.
Operational Excellence & Support
Technical Oversight: Provide direct technical supervision for fleet escalation and retrofits and validate performance improvement initiatives to ensure desired outcomes are achieved safely and effectively.
Knowledge Management: Drive the development and continuous improvement of field troubleshooting guides ensuring field technicians have the most accurate and actionable information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree of Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Field Services or Engineering

- Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
