Job Summary
Job Title:Technical Instructor
Job Duties: Provides competence training to internal service staff and customers at HQ training center and customer facilities. Training is delivered across several formats: classroom-based Fundamentals courses (e.g. Karl Fischer Titration Potentiometric Titration OMNIS Software) custom/Tailored onsite customer training remote live training online video training. Develops general training resources to support the advent of new training platforms and modalities. Trains in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards that include random internal and 3rd party auditing and verification of field service engineer training certifications. Supports internal focused courses chemical/instrumental applications training and wet chemistry instruction and many software programs. Participates in new product preliminary evaluation and contributes to R&D testing. Maintains training lab infrastructure scientific equipment and inventory of chemicals and consumables at training center.
Requirements: BS in Chemistry Field and 2-years training experience as either technical instructor or application specialist. Any experience must include training others in Karl Fisher and Potentiometric Titration instrumentation (includes Tiamo and OMNIS software training); Near Infrared Spectroscopy instrumentation (NIRS; includes Vision and Vision Air software training and familiarization); Raman instrumentation; Rancimat instrumentation and stability; Burette Dosing and Calibration and Installation Qualification / Operational Qualification (IQOQ); and robotic programming. Experience must also include preparation of field service installation guides and internal coursework syllabi. Nationwide travel one week per month on average to client sites.
