ANE Consulting is a leading construction management services firm supporting complex high-visibility public infrastructure projects throughout New York City. As part of a major multi-billion-dollar public works program ANE is supporting four facility design-build projects across the Bronx Queens Brooklyn and Manhattan. The program requires extensive environmental compliance construction monitoring stakeholder coordination and public engagement to support successful delivery of these important infrastructure projects.

About the Role

As Technical Engagement Coordinator you will coordinate environmental monitoring and compliance activities while supporting public engagement and day-to-day engagement team operations across a major multi-billion-dollar NYC construction program. Based at 777 3rd Avenue in Midtown Manhattan this role will work closely with Design-Build teams Independent Environmental Monitors (IEMs) consultants regulatory agencies community stakeholders and the broader engagement team to monitor compliance address concerns and support effective project communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track environmental records permits approvals monitoring documentation commitments and corrective actions across the program.
  • Review IEM and Design-Builder reports field observations and monitoring data to identify concerns trends and potential compliance risks.
  • Conduct field visits and respond to non-compliance issues monitoring exceedances and environmental incidents; support appropriate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Design-Build teams IEMs project stakeholders and regulatory agencies regarding environmental compliance and monitoring activities.
  • Review Construction Air Monitoring Plans (CAMPs) and environmental monitoring equipment and activities.
  • Prepare and review public-facing reports informational materials and presentations.
  • Attend public meetings and community outreach events and draft or evaluate responses to environmental and construction impact inquiries.
  • Lead internal compliance meetings and track community concerns action items and resolutions.
  • Manage shared files meeting minutes reports presentations and other engagement team documentation.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to the engagement team.
Requirements
  • Degree and relevant professional experience in environmental compliance environmental monitoring construction oversight infrastructure project delivery or a related field.
  • Experience reviewing noise dust and vibration monitoring data compliance reports and environmental mitigation measures.
  • Knowledge of NYC environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Strong technical and public-facing written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with contractors consultants regulatory agencies and community stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain accurate compliance and engagement documentation.
  • Design-Build and public works experience is a plus.
