Technical Assembler

Steelwrist is a growing global manufacturer of industry-leading tiltrotators quick couplers and work tools for excavators. As our North American business continues to expand we are increasing local production in Newington Connecticut and are looking for a driven Technical Assembler who wants to grow with us and help develop our U.S. manufacturing operation for the future.

• Perform mechanical and hydraulic assembly of Steelwrist products according to drawings work instructions and quality requirements.

• Use hand tools power tools torque tools and other assembly equipment safely and correctly.

• Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process.

• Identify and help resolve assembly quality or material issues.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.

• Participate in continuous improvement and support the development of more efficient standardized and digital ways of working.

• Enjoys learning new products processes and technology.

• 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly manufacturing or a related technical field.

• Experience with mechanical and hydraulic assembly.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and exploded-view diagrams.

• Experience with industrial equipment construction equipment Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is a plus.
