Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to serve graduate studentsand graduate faculty. Specifically the position provides training in BannerMicrosoft SharePoint filing and document review to the new Thesis andDissertation Specialist in the Graduate School. The position will initiallyassist with providing a formatting review of students theses dissertationsor doctoral scholarly projects before they are loaded into online accessplatforms. The position will train the new full-time Specialist on the systemsfor maintaining records of graduate faculty status processing doctoralcommittee appointments and changings and scheduling doctoral exams. Thesuccessful candidate must have thorough knowledge of Banner and MicrosoftOffice and at least five years of experience reviewing thesis anddissertations for appropriate formatting according to the common style manualsand the UNC manuals.
This is a part-time (approximately 25 hours per week)position that will run from October 1 through December 31.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma 5 years working in an educational environment and training in Banner.
