Job Summary

REMOTE - Preferred to local from TX & VA - Visa Independent

Position: Tech Lead Java/Python & AI Integration

Requirement:
We are seeking a Tech Lead with strong backend development experience in Java/Python and expertise in real-time event-driven architectures. The role involves modernizing trade data platforms by migrating from batch-based processing to real-time streaming solutions using Kafka and modern OLTP systems. Candidates should also have exposure to AI-driven migration and reconciliation solutions.

Required Skills:

8 years of application development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java or Python
Expertise in Apache Kafka (development configuration integration)
Experience building REST APIs and Microservices
Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
Exposure to AI/ML integration for migration reconciliation or automation
Experience with CI/CD Docker Kubernetes and AWS Cloud is a plus
Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

Real-time analytics and streaming platform experience
DevOps and containerization experience
Financial/trade data platform experience is a plus
