Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Mental Health Tech (MHT)in Parkview Geriatric Wellness departmentin Bolivar Missouri someone who leads with skill compassion and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like:Parkview Geriatric Wellness Center provides specialized behavioral health and wellness services for adults ages 50 and older experiencing challenges such as depression anxiety memory concerns grief loneliness or changes in behavior.

As a Mental Health Tech (MHT) you will be:

• Assuring patient comfort measures are met by performing frequent rounds on patients and anticipating patient needs.
• Documentingin-patient and departmental records in a timely accurate and concise manner.
• Assistingwith the management of patient personal belongings throughout all aspects of patient admission.
• Readingutilizing and providingcare based on the treatment plan and/or as instructed by the multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma (preferred).

Experience: We prefer someone with labor and delivery as well as postpartum experience.

Skills: Good Communication Patience Attention to detail flexibility Intrapersonal Skills.

Licensure/Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (we assist with obtaining this) within 6 months of employment

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 90% of the shift and sit for the remaining 10% of the shift. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
