Basic Description:

This position will make decisions regarding customers business and employee needs. The individual must have strong decision-making skills and a positive attitude with the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist PC with;
    • Team decisions that will result in the best quality cost and delivery.
    • Facilitation/driving of E.I. (Employee Involvement) and problem solving.
    • Driving team and business goals.
    • Scheduling production.
    • Coordinating manpower and vacation coverage to meet production needs.
    • Monitoring all policies and ensuring adherence to include but not limited to: attendance breaks and identification of problem patterns.
    • Monitor and drive efficiencies.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management.
  • Provide reliable fair and unbiased feedback for employee evaluations
  • Involvement in new employee training and cross training.
  • Other tasks/functions as deemed necessary by PC and/or Operations Director.
  • Team lead responsibilities are in addition to production responsibilities and the time spent each day will vary based on workload and team needs.
  • Manufacturing documentation completion as required in each center of excellence.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree or in pursuit of Associates degree preferred with desire to advance into higher level management levels.
  • Knowledge of the technical aspects of the centers of excellence.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and coach a group of team members to achieve company business and team goals.
  • Successful record of building positive relationships with co-workers and management.
  • Strong verbal written and communication skills. Successful with being in front of a group and communicating business information.
  • Commitment to teamwork.
  • Self-Accountable Self-Disciplined and reliable nature.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Previous on the job training experience.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Promote and model safety and quality.
  • MRD experience and material ordering preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and bills of material.
  • Good manual dexterity required.
  • Overtime may be required including weekends.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs.
