Our Jackson Hewitt franchise is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Tax Preparation Support Manager to join our team in central Florida! In this leadership role youll play a key part in guiding tax professionals and ensuring clients receive accurate efficient and friendly tax preparation services. Responsibilities:
Oversee and support tax preparation staff to ensure accuracy compliance and quality service
Train mentor and develop tax preparers on current tax laws procedures and best practices
Manage daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow during peak tax season
Review completed tax returns for accuracy and IRS compliance
Resolve client inquiries concerns and escalated tax-related issues professionally
Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback to drive productivity
Ensure adherence to Jackson Hewitts policies procedures and quality standards
Requirements:
Prior experience in tax preparation accounting or a related financial field
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and IRS regulations
Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced seasonal work environment
Proficiency with tax software and basic computer applications
PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) required or ability to obtain one
