JOB DESCRIPTION

Greystars Corporate Accounting & Tax Internship provides hands-on experience across External Reporting & Technical Accounting and Tax. Youll work alongside both teams on real projects while gaining exposure to financial reporting technical accounting tax compliance and investor reporting.

• Assist with quarterly financial reporting and financial statement disclosures.
• Support accounting research technical accounting projects and reporting processes.
• Prepare tax workpapers and documentation supporting tax returns audits and REIT compliance.
• Assist with investor tax documentation including Schedule K-1s and related communications.
• Maintain and reconcile accounting and tax tracking information.
• Partner with accounting tax and business teams on projects throughout the summer.

• Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail organization and analytical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Curious collaborative and eager to learn.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

• The compensation for this position is $26.75/hour

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements prior experience current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions:Inaddition to the base salary this role may be eligible to participateina quarterly or annual bonus program based onindividual and company performance.
• Onsite Property Positions:Inaddition to the base salary this role may be eligible to participatein weekly monthly and/or quarterly bonus programs.
