- Job Description Summary The Task Worker: ART Visual Communication Assistant is a temporary assignment that serves as an Administrative Associate and Receptionist providing professional front-office support and administrative assistance to the Department of Art Visual Communication faculty staff and students. This position serves as the primary point of contact for students faculty staff and visitors while assisting with daily office operations event coordination records management and special projects. The role requires strong communication organizational and customer service skills as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a university environment. This position is located in Dallas with the office open from 10:00am to 7:00pm.

- Job Description SUMMARY: The Task Worker: ART Visual Communication Assistant is a temporary assignment that serves as an Administrative Associate and Receptionist providing professional front-office support and administrative assistance to the Department of Art Visual Communication faculty staff and students. This position serves as the primary point of contact for students faculty staff and visitors while assisting with daily office operations event coordination records management and special projects. The role requires strong communication organizational and customer service skills as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a university environment. This position is located in Dallas with the office open from 10:00am to 7:00pm.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet and assist students faculty staff and visitors. Answer screen and direct incoming phone calls and emails .Respond to routine inquiries and provide information regarding departmental services and programs. Maintain a welcoming and professional reception area. Provide administrative assistance to the Dean department leadership faculty and staff. Schedule appointments meetings and conference room reservations. Prepare correspondence reports agendas meeting minutes and other office documents. Manage and maintain departmental records files and databases. Assist with data entry and recordkeeping activities. Process incoming and outgoing mail packages and deliveries. Manage and monitor office supplies and inventory. Assist with document preparation copying scanning and filing. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office email and scheduling tools).PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE: Prior customer service experience. Prior administrative positions are security-sensitive.
