CAMBAs Human Resources (HR) Department manages all aspects of human resources functions such as talent acquisition onboarding employee benefits compensation policies & procedures training & development performance management employee relations compliance medical leaves reasonable accommodations and human resources information systems.

Position: Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp)

Reports To: Director of Talent Acquisition

Location: 1720 Church Avenue Brooklyn NY 11226/Hybrid Remote

What The Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp) Does:

  • Support the design and restructure of Talent Acquisition and support implement the recruitment process
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes as needed or in the absence of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator
  • Screen resumes and applications to select qualified candidates based on relevant knowledge skills soft skills experience and aptitudes
  • Prepares interview questions and selection materials
  • Performs first round screening of potential candidate
  • Attends and participates in job fair and recruiting sessions promoting
  • Working with a variety of sources both external and internal to source best candidates for open positions.
  • Working with hiring managers to make candidate determinations
  • Prepare and execute job offers
  • Manage the recruitment life-cycle
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

  • Associate Degree Bachelors preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience preferably in a mid-sized (250 employees) organization.
  • Basic analytical & math skills.
  • Good written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Outlook Word and Excel.
  • Computer literacy in other Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems & Applicant Tracking System.

Compensation: $24-$27 hourly
When salary ranges are listed the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and includes but is not limited to experience education budget and/or program size internal equity skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.

Status: Full-time (35 hours per week)
