Program Summary
The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) sustains the Armys mission to develop acquire field and sustain ground combat tactical and support systems throughout their lifecycle. The program focuses on ensuring operational readiness reliability and safety of automotive and ground support equipment critical to Army operations.
Under this contract personnel provide maintenance repair overhaul and sustainment support in accordance with Army technical manuals safety standards and performance requirements.

Job Summary
The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for planning directing and overseeing engineering construction maintenance and infrastructure projects at a military installation. This position manages projects from concept through completion ensuring scope schedule budget quality and regulatory requirements are achieved. The Engineering Project Manager coordinates with engineers contractors government agencies and installation stakeholders to develop and implement technical solutions that support facility operations infrastructure modernization and mission readiness.

Roles and Responsibilities
Plan organize and manage engineering and construction projects from initial planning through project closeout.
Develop project scopes schedules budgets cost estimates and resource requirements to ensure successful project execution.
Coordinate with engineers architects contractors military personnel and regulatory agencies to support project planning design construction and commissioning activities.
Monitor project progress and performance identifying risks resolving issues and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule budget and quality objectives.
Review and evaluate engineering designs specifications technical proposals and contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
Conduct site visits and inspections to verify project status construction quality safety compliance and adherence to contract requirements.
Prepare project reports briefings and recommendations for leadership regarding project status funding requirements risks and project priorities.
Support long-range facility and infrastructure planning efforts by identifying project needs evaluating alternatives and recommending capital improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Project Management or a related technical field.
Experience managing engineering construction facilities or infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
Knowledge of project management principles including scope schedule budget risk quality and stakeholder management.
Ability to develop and review project plans cost estimates technical specifications schedules and contract documents.
Knowledge of engineering construction and facility-related codes standards regulations and industry best practices.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams contractors and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required)
U.S. citizenship required

The salary range for this position is $134800 - $202200. Compensation offered will depend on qualifications experience work location and business considerations. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. Additional compensation and benefits may be available based on role eligibility.
