Job Summary
The Opportunity:
At Photonics Ops South A CACI Company we specialize in the design development and manufacturing of complex state-of-the-art systems for military space and commercial applications. Our products include optical and RF communication systems as well as sophisticated image processing & visualization systems.
We are currently looking for an Integration and Test Engineer with experience in electro-optical system integration system test planning and system test execution.
Responsibilities:
- Hardware/software and opto-mechanical system integration
- Development of system-level test plans based on system requirements
- Development of system test approaches and test fixtures especially for optical systems
- Definition and execution of system optical and/or communication performance-tests
- Prototype module test and debug support
- Support of optical electrical and mechanical component selection and test
- System-level troubleshooting
- Develop documentation to support troubleshooting efforts
- Must be willing to work Second and Third shifts as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3 years experience in bring-up of electro-optical systems
- Experience using equipment such as VOAs OSAs Power Meters oscilloscopes
- Understanding of communications: serial USB ethernet
- Understanding of electronic optical and mechanical systems
- Self-motivated and self-directed individual with little supervision necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired:
- Experience with a programming language for bench tests Python preferred

Pay Range:
