Job Requisition Introductory Paragraph:
This is a Student Co-op position located in Saginaw MI. This position supports the Global Steering Core and Architecture activities in advancing Product Line Engineering (PLE) practices. The student will play a key role in helping roll out the PLE tools across multiple engineering disciplines. This includes collaborating with hardware electrical software and systems requirements architecture and verification teams to develop variant feature models apply configuration restrictions and constraints in support of requirements architecture and verification artifact management tools suite.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware electrical software and systems engineering to support the implementation of the Pure Variant PLE tool.
- Assist in developing and maintaining variant feature models that define product variability and configuration logic.
- Apply restriction attributes to requirements and other artifacts and tools to ensure accurate product assets output according to selected configuration.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of PLE processes that guide how engineering teams interact with and benefit from the tool.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance tool usability and integration across disciplines.
- Gain exposure to systems engineering practices and product lifecycle management within a global automotive environment.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Electrical Mechanical Computer Science Computer Engineering or related disciplines preferred.
- Candidate must be able to work 20-32 hours during Fall and Winter semesters
- Up to 40 in the summer
- Must have cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale
- Must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters
- Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Products (Office 365 Word Excel Powerpoint)
- Candidate must have excellent Communication Documentation Skills and attention to detail
- Candidate must have the right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorship
