JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled hands-on technical Systems Engineer with subject matterexpertisein test and integration to help contribute to our Mission Engineering team environment with other systemssoftwareand specialty engineers. This position requires an understanding of all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle to develop and deploy technical solutions. You will be part of a talented team of engineers thatdemonstratesuperb technical competency delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availabilityperformanceand security.
This project delivers a mission-assured technicalrefreshof the CCIC2S Oracle database and RHEL operating environments upgrading legacy systems to Oracle 19c and RHEL 9.7 while preserving full operational includes comprehensive engineering integration cybersecurity testing and deployment activities to ensure zero data loss improved performance strengthened security and seamless compatibility across all CCIC2S mission systems.Location will be north Colorado Springs initially and future work atChidlawand Peterson AFB occasionally.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support systems engineering test and integration activities to ensure the installation matches the configuration-managed baseline and to verify settings and operations.
- Develop and execute test activities to exercise high-level functions and capabilities and ensure there is no unintended deviation from the test environment.
- Work with Linux Windows and virtual server environments with the ability to support Oracle-based infrastructure and applications.
- Test and integration activities include troubleshooting installed software toidentifyand resolve issues related to system installation or incorrect settings.
- Troubleshoot common system installation configuration and operational issues and identifyappropriate correctiveactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must be a self-starter withgood communication interpersonal andproblem solvingskills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Candidate must be able to develop test and integration plans and procedures from sources such as functional and performance requirements andstatedtechnicalcapabilities monitor the integration of test resources execute detailed procedures analyze results and present the results orally and in writing.
- Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with people within and external to the program and must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Candidateshould have experience in troubleshooting of small to large scale infrastructure.
- Linux Windows and Oracle environment experiencerequired.
- Virtual server experience preferred.
- Candidateshould have knowledge of or practical experience with systems engineering and DoD test methodologies milestones and terminology.
- Experience with ITW/AA operational systems preferred.
- Experience with off-the-shelf statistical analysis packages preferred.
- Candidateshould have knowledge of systems engineering milestones such as SRR PDR CDR and TRR.
- Candidate should have knowledge of the Systems Engineering V-Modelrequirementsengineering DoDAF and ICDs.
- For this position network architecture and device knowledge and scripting skills for data mining and formatted display of data are a plus.
- 10yearsof relevant experience
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subjectpreferred
- Minimum Active SECRET Clearance Required

Estimated Pay Range
$180000 - $200000 USD
