Apples Platform Architecture group is seeking a systems engineer who will support our current as well as develop new hardware/software interface technologies for chip development and verification. You will work with and support our world leading silicon engineering teams on next generation chips which end up in the hands of millions of users worldwide.

Design and develop new technologies for interfacing software to hardware prototypes. nWork with software design verification and silicon validation teams to deploy and transfer this technology. nSupport various groups (software architecture verification validation) in the use of existing and the development of new technology. nWork independently and lead deliverables to different teams. nOccasional travel to development groups in the US and overseas.

BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering programming in C/C. nThreading/concurrency with scripting skills such as Python Lua with debugging skills in software.

3 years relevant industry in both software and hardware skills in SystemVerilog / VHDL and associated design of industry standard protocols (PCI AXI etc.).nExperience with internal customer communication analytical and documentation skills.
