Systems Engineer Level 3

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland MD. The ideal candidate will possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance and have a robust background in computer science engineering or a related discipline. This role requires a blend of technical expertise practical testing experience and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Responsibilities:

• System and Application Testing:

• Conduct practical testing of applications and systems.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive application and system documentation.

• Standard Operating Procedures:

• Prepare and update standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in system operations.

• Requirements Development:

• Skillfully develop and apply system requirements.

• Translate technical requirements into clear concise documentation for non-technical end users.

• Data Management:

• Create and maintain data maps for data ingest processes.

• Ensure accurate and efficient data flow within systems.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers to understand system functionalities and requirements.

• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline is desired.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering.

• Skills:

• Practical testing expertise with a focus on application and system documentation.

• Experience in the preparation of standard operating procedures.

• Strong skill in developing and applying requirements.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical understanding into technical writing for non-technical end users.

• Proficiency in data map creation and maintenance for data ingest processes.

• Certifications:

• Must possess one of the following industry certifications (or equivalent education) at a minimum:

• CCNA

• CAP

• Security

• CISSP

• CASP

• Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Pay Range:
