The Opportunity:

Lead systems engineering efforts supporting intelligence electronic warfare and cyber systems for Department of Defense customers. As a Systems Engineer Lead you will:

  • Lead technical planning systems integration verification and validation and cost/risk analyses for complex intelligence EW and cyber systems

  • Perform requirements analysis architecture trade studies and capability mapping across tactical and enterprise C5ISR systems

  • Develop technical baselines and system architecture documentation for defense intelligence programs

  • Lead functional analysis timeline analysis and detailed trade studies to translate customer requirements into technical specifications

  • Coordinate with government program offices to ensure system interoperability and integration

  • Support systems engineering activities across the full system lifecycle from concept through disposal

Responsibilities:

  • Leadinterdisciplinary engineering teams in the development and integration of non-IT engineering systems including hardware communications cyber electrical and mechanical solutions

  • Conductsystem-level verification and validation activities including test planning test execution and analysis

  • Developandmaintainsystems engineering artifacts including requirements specifications interface control documents (ICDs) system architecture documents and technical performance measures

  • SupportEngineering Review Boards (ERBs) Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and program milestone reviews

  • Performsupportability and effectivenessanalysestooptimizetotal system performance

  • Applysystems engineering standards and processes per IEEE 15288 EIA 632 or DoD systems engineering guidelines

  • Ensurelogical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical schedule and cost constraints

  • SupportModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiatives DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) product development and Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) compliance activities

  • Providetechnical leadership and mentorship to junior systems engineers

  • Interfacewith Government customers program managers and cross-functional technical teams

Qualifications:

Required:

  • ActiveTop Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (required)

  • Mastersdegree in Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline

  • 10 years of professional experience in systems engineering

  • Demonstratedexperience with systems integration verification and validation and technical planning for complex DoD systems

  • Strongunderstanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes and methodologies

  • Experiencewith requirements analysis functional decomposition and interface management

  • Knowledgeof C5ISR SIGINT EW or intelligence systems architecture

  • Experiencewith systems engineering tools for requirements management modeling or architecture development

  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills with ability to perform trade studies and technical assessments

  • Excellenttechnical writing and communication skills with ability to develop technical documentation

  • Demonstratedability to work effectively with Government customers and cross-functional teams

Desired:

  • InternationalCouncil on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) CSEP or ESEP certification

  • Experiencewith Army intelligence and electronic warfare programs

  • Knowledgeof Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) usingSysMLand tools such as Cameo orMagicDraw

  • Familiaritywith DoDAF architecture products and development

  • Understandingof MOSA SOSA and CMOSS open architecture standards

  • Experiencewith CMOSS/MORA interface standards and VPXarchitectures

  • KnowledgeofDevSecOps Agile systems engineering and iterative development approaches

  • Experiencewith AI/ML integration into intelligence systems

  • Understandingof Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity authorization processes

  • FamiliaritywithMulti-INTintegration concepts

  • Knowledgeof cloudarchitecturesand hybrid system designs

  • Previousexperience supporting government program offices

  • Experiencewith requirements management tools such as DOORS Jama or Cameo Requirements

  • Understandingof digital engineering and digital thread concepts
