Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

- A demonstrated ability to generate quotation packages and final detail packages for complex rack systems including selective rack cantilever dynamic systems drive-in rack and pick modules.
- Create system approval drawings permit drawings fabrication drawings and installation drawings for customers as needed during quotation phase as well as during order phase.
- An understanding of how to interpret engineering calculations to help design systems basic math to calculate system weights and have an expert grasp of graphic standards.
- Collaborate and communicate with outside customers as well as internal customers such as Sales Engineering Production and Project Management to support successful client projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in the Racking / Material Handling industry
- Expert command of AutCAD design software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering design or comparable experience
- Experience with 3D Autodesk design software Inventor or Revit
- Prior experience leading a team
