Position : Data Engineer

Location : Austin TX Hybrid - 2 Days Remote / 3 Days Onsite (Tuesday Wednesday Friday)

Duration : Long term contract

Local Candidates Only : Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Austin TX
Interview Mode : In-Person Interview Required

Job Overview

The client is continuing development of the data integration hub within the Performance Management & Analytics System (PMAS). The selected candidate will work as part of an agile development team supporting the design development implementation and maintenance of enterprise data integration and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica Power Center/IICS
• Acquire and integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle SQL Server Excel Access and Adobe PDF
• Design and develop complex Snowflake SQL scripts and dimensional models
• Build automation and validation processes for data integration workflows
• Collaborate with architects data engineers and business teams on data acquisition strategies and implementation designs
• Participate in agile sprint ceremonies and technical discussions
• Produce technical documentation specifications diagrams and process flows
• Support deployment operations enhancements and troubleshooting activities

Required Skills

• 8 years of Informatica Power Center or IICS experience
• 8 years of ETL/data integration experience across multiple data sources
• 8 years of experience with Snowflake SQL development
• Strong system analysis analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with technical documentation and modeling tools such as Visio and Erwin
• Strong experience delivering enterprise software platforms and solutions
• Ability to write efficient scalable and testable code

Preferred Skills

• Agile/Scrum team experience
• Healthcare or industry experience
• Experience handling PII/PHI data
• Python scripting experience
• Experience with JIRA REST/SOAP APIs Java JavaScript GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Mulesoft and AI tools such as Snowflake Cortex or Informatica Claire
