Job Title: System Administrator VMware / Hardware Infrastructure
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with strong expertise in VMware virtualization and enterprise hardware infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting and maintaining VMware environments UCS/Cisco/HPE infrastructure and Verge I/O platforms in a production environment.
Experience: 10-12 years
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with VMware administration and virtualization technologies
- Hands-on experience with UCS Cisco and HPE hardware infrastructure
- Experience working with Verge I/O platforms
- Server installation configuration maintenance and troubleshooting
- Infrastructure monitoring performance tuning and system upgrades
- Experience with backup disaster recovery and high availability environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support VMware infrastructure and virtual environments
- Manage Cisco UCS and HPE hardware systems
- Monitor system health performance and security
- Perform system upgrades patching and maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and hardware-related issues
- Support high availability and disaster recovery initiatives
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure system reliability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise data center environments
- Knowledge of storage networking and virtualization best practices
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
