Job Summary
Estimated Start Date: 1 Nov
Objective: Support the Clients system through ensuring secure efficient and scalable operations across NIPR and SIPR environments maintaining high availability compliance and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operating system patching infrastructure upgrades and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists.
- Maintain and update system architecture documentation including hardware lists topology diagrams and database design documents.
- Implement and maintain robust security baselines (NIST CNSS DISA STIG USTRANSCOM) across all environments.
- Ensure compliance and requirements for data protection and privacy.
- Configure and maintain security logging structured auditing distributed tracing and runtime telemetry.
- Leverage management tools (Jira Confluence) for structured engineering change control backlog refinement and workflow alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal or DoD systems including secure operations.
- Proficiency cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Experience with monitoring logging and incident response tools and practices.
- Excellent documentation communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work onsite/ client site delivery
