ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Createsconstructionandfabrication(drawingsinaccordancewithcompanystandardsanddesignengineersdirectionsandspecifications.
• Utilizesknowledgeofvariousmachinesengineeringpracticesmathematicsbuildingmaterialsandotherphysicalsciencestocompletedrawings.
• Makesanyadjustmentsorchangesnecessaryordesired.
• Preparesflotationcalculationsforeachfloatmoduleinadocksystem.
• Createsfabricationdetailsusingtheflotationcalculationstoensurethateachfloatmodulewillattainthedesignedfreeboard.
• Compilesandmaintainsbothpaperanddatafilesonallprojectsforahistoricalrecordofalldrawingscompleted.
• Consultswithandassistsdepartmentsindeterminingneedsanddevelopingspecificationsforgoodsandservices
• Establishesandmaintainscontactwithvendorsandnegotiateswiththemtoobtainbestandmostcost-effectivegoodsandservicesforBMI
• Demonstratesandappliessafetyrulesandtechniques.
• Performsotherdutiesasassignedorrequired.
