Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLCis seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel Operating Room assignment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong trauma surgical experience previous travel assignments and the ability to perform efficiently in fast-paced surgical environments.

The CST will support perioperative teams during complex surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique ensuring patient safety and assisting with efficient surgical workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments supplies and equipment
  • Assist surgeons during operative procedures by passing instruments and supplies
  • Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection prevention protocols
  • Anticipate procedural needs and support surgical team efficiency
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery
  • Maintain accurate counts of instruments sharps and surgical supplies
  • Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment
  • Support room turnover and OR readiness between procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers nurses and perioperative staff
  • Maintain compliance with hospital safety and surgical standards
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
  • Previous travel assignment experience required
  • Level I Trauma Center experience required
  • Strong Operating Room experience required
  • High skills checklist rating required
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure surgical environments
