Surgical Support Aide

• Shift / Schedule: Evening (2nd Shift) 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (5x8 Hours)

This Surgical Support Aide role is based at the Main Campus and supports surgical services through patient transport room turnover and hands-on physical support tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Lift and transport heavy items as required by the role
• Transport patients throughout the facility
• Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures

• 1 full year of customer service experience required

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Minimum 1 full year of customer service experience

• Role requires lifting heavy items
• Transporting patients is a core physical duty of this position
• Cleaning and turning over surgical rooms is required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)

• For orientation and the first three weeks of the contract travelers will be asked to work 1st shift (9:00 AM 5:30 PM) to become familiar with the unit before transitioning to the assigned 2nd shift schedule.
