• Pay Rate: $65.00 / Hour (USD)

The Surgical Technologist prepares the equipment instruments and supplies during surgery as well as protects the sterile area. Incumbents must have a clear understanding of the surgical procedure being performed in order to anticipate needs of the performing surgeon.

• High School Diploma GED or equivalent required
• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic medical record documentation preferred

• 3 to 5 years experience required
