Job Summary

Who We Are Looking For:

Are you the Support Specialist we have been looking for JRIs Developing Abilities program provides opportunities for people to live in homes and apartments in their communities and to grow through job training supported employment and day habilitation services. We provide therapeutic and social supports to enrich the lives of people with disabilities.

We are looking for Support Specialists to work in our Willow Tree Day Habilitation Programs in Natick and Northboro!

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

JRI Provides The Training So That:

  • YOU will provide high quality supports to adults with developmental disabilities.
  • YOU will organize clients daily activities.
  • YOU will implement treatment objectives.
  • YOU will organize community outings.
  • YOU will maintain case records.
  • YOU will teach new work skills.
  • YOU will supervise individuals in employment settings.
  • YOU will assist individuals in meeting vocational goals.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is required.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work efficiently and independently without direct supervision or colleagues present.

  • Valid drivers license with the ability to transport individuals in agency vehicles as well as your own vehicle when needed.

  • Background checks and driving record evaluations will be conducted.
