Supply Planning Analyst

The Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for managing supply across the planning horizon and overseeing finished goods planning while maintaining visibility across all aspects of material flow including production raw materials contract manufacturing outplants and site logistics. This role proactively manages supply exceptions in real time to ensure optimal product availability and service ideal candidate is customer-focused agile and highly analytical with strong decision-making and communication skills. This position plays a critical role in the development standardization and continuous improvement of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and is responsible for optimizing purchase order effectiveness through data analysis performance monitoring and cross-functional Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop solutions to complex supply planning challenges using sound judgment analytical thinking and established policies and procedures as and improve service levels across the supply chain to support internal and external customer identify and expedite supply requirements to mitigate current or anticipated service-level with Procurement Supply Chain and Operations teams to investigate root causes analyze issues and implement corrective action supply risks escalations and action plans effectively to leadership and key purchase order accuracy timeliness and overall effectiveness in collaboration with maintain and continuously improve demand-to-supply planning processes leveraging S&OP/SIOP metrics and best process flows identify failure points and drive corrective and preventive as the subject matter expert (SME) for purchase order processes and support system enhancements in partnership with Information operational excellence through continuous process improvement technology adoption and data-driven as the Center of Excellence (COE) for purchase order quality while expanding expertise and ownership in related supply planning additional duties and responsibilities as degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering Operations Management or a related technical (1) to three (3) years of experience in Supply Planning Demand Planning Inventory Planning or a related supply chain understanding of supply chain principles planning processes operational execution inventory management and business analytical problem-solving and decision-making ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive improvements in a collaborative communication organizational and project management working within ERP/MRP systems and planning tools is ability to identify opportunities and drive innovation within a corporate QualificationsAPICS CPIM Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt participating in or supporting S&OP/SIOP experience leading projects or influencing stakeholders without direct Demand RequirementsOccasionally required to stand walk or sit; use hands to grasp handle or feel objects tools or controls; use fingers to touch pick or pinch objects; reach with hands and arms; push or pull; climb stairs; balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; use foot or leg controls; talk or hear.
