Chemical Mechanical Electrical Quality & Manufacturing Engineering

Position Summary

At Solenis our internship program provides students with meaningful hands-on experience that goes beyond traditional summer work. Interns are assigned real projects that support manufacturing operations engineering quality reliability and continuous improvement initiatives while working alongside experienced professionals.

This program is designed to help students apply classroom learning to real-world challenges develop practical technical skills and gain exposure to manufacturing operations in a global specialty chemical company.

What Youll Do

Support safety quality productivity and reliability initiatives.

Assist with process improvement and engineering projects.

Analyze operational and production data to identify improvement opportunities.

Participate in troubleshooting root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

Support capital projects maintenance initiatives and operational excellence efforts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing engineering maintenance quality and supply chain.

Present project results and recommendations to site leadership.

Qualifications

Enrolled full-time in a Bachelors or Masters program in Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Legal authorization to work in the United States.

High-performing interns may be considered for future opportunities within Solenis including participation in our Operations Leadership Development Program following graduation.

The program is designed to provide broad exposure to manufacturing supply chain engineering quality maintenance and continuous improvement through rotational assignments across multiple facilities and business functions. Participants gain experience working alongside plant and corporate leaders while developing the technical operational and leadership skills needed for a successful career in manufacturing and operations.

Successful program participants may have opportunities to build careers in areas such as Manufacturing Engineering Maintenance Supply Chain Quality Operational Excellence and Plant Leadership.
