Working for our team you can truly make a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations including strategic sourcing procurement production planning inventory management warehousing and logistics. This role ensures the efficient flow of materials from suppliers through manufacturing to customer delivery while driving supplier performance cost optimization inventory accuracy and operational ideal candidate brings a strong background in manufacturing supply chain management strategic sourcing procurement production planning and logistics. They possess proven experience managing supplier relationships negotiating contracts optimizing inventory and leading cross-functional teams to improve service levels reduce costs and support organizational work at MCC:Compensation: $120K USDGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k) Paid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day plus two floating holidaysResponsibilities:Purchasing & Strategic SourcingManage procurement of raw materials components and evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness quality and and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings mitigate supply risk and diversify the supplier RFP/RFQ processes supplier evaluations and selection pricing terms contracts and service-level agreements with strong vendor relationships and ensure effective contract supplier performance and resolve delivery quality and service spend data and identify cost reduction and value improvement supplier risk performance metrics and continuous improvement maintain and optimize approved supplier strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with company objectives and operational commodity markets industry trends and material cost fluctuations to support procurement Planning:Ensure alignment with the Global Planning strategy and ensure proper execution of the and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts customer orders and inventory with manufacturing engineering and sales teams to ensure materials availability for production progress and adjust schedules to address supply constraints or changes in inventory levels to support production while minimizing excess IBP/S&OP process Step 3 Supply forecast and adjust plans as needed to meet business & Inventory Control:Oversee receiving operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and maintain inventory control processes cycle counts and inventory accuracy proper storage handling and tracking of materials within the ERP/MRP systems to manage inventory and materials & Logistics:Manage shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished freight carriers and logistics providers to optimize cost and service compliance with shipping regulations and documentation Monitoring and Reporting:Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Materials management such as On Time and In Full order and present reports to management on materials management performance and improvement as the voice of the Materials Management process in audit/compliance discussionsLeadership & Process Improvement:Lead and develop the materials warehouse and logistics best practices in materials planning inventory management and supply chain continuous improvement initiatives to improve service levels reduce costs and increase KPIs and metrics related to inventory turns on-time delivery and supplier and Tool Management:Oversee the use of planning software and tools ensuring they are effectively utilized across all with IT and other stakeholders to enhance system capabilities and address technical :Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Operations Management or related field preferred.7 years of experience in materials management supply chain or background in production planning purchasing inventory management receiving and in manufacturing environments Skills: Proficiency in supply planning and forecasting tools (e.g. Kinaxis SAP IBP) and experience with data analytics tools (e.g. AX Shareville Smartsheet). Advanced Excel skills are Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable and Development: Proven experience in developing and guiding teams particularly in manufacturing environment. Ability to work cross-functionally with production sales and finance negotiation and vendor management communication and decision-making Performance Indicators (KPIs)On-time delivery performanceInventory accuracy and inventory turnsProduction schedule adherenceSupplier on-time delivery and quality performanceFreight and material cost controlProject Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
