Key job responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of our Supply Chain and Systems and Tools processes and identify targets for improvement in transactional and operations efficiencies
- Support the execution of supply chain cost/lead time safety stock procurement planning warehousing/logistics and/or new product introduction programs including the exploration of opportunities across multiple Amazon business units
- Lead projects to automate our cross-functional processes between Supply Chain Finance Operations Deployment and Engineering
- Develop processes and mechanisms related to expanding capacity and programs in our Robotics Operations Center of Excellence
- Developing efficient and accurate metrics and mechanisms for measuring and reporting supply chain performance. Support the introduction of new software/tools/dashboards
- Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion

The Supply Chain intern works within the Supply Chain organization to support the development of business processes for the Supply Chain Planning Strategic Sourcing Logistics and Systems and Tools teams. The intern should have a good understanding of supply chain operations finance and general business practices.

Please note that by applying to this role you would be considered for Robotics Supply Chain 2027 summer intern spring co-op and fall co-op roles on various Amazon Robotics teams. These teams work on robotics supply chain within procurement demand planning logistics commodity management and others.


Key job responsibilities

- Are 18 years of age or older
- Are enrolled in or have completed a academic program that is physically located in the United States in enginnering or equivalent
- Are enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Operations Supply Chain Management Engineering Management Industrial Engineering or related field

- Experience with MS Excel Word SharePoint & PowerPoint
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
- 1 years of performance metrics process improvement or lean techniques experience
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities or experience in software development
- 1-2 years of experience in supply chain
