Supply Chain Buyer

In this role you will be working as a Supply Chain Buyer for a client that is in the electronic manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for ensuring timely procurement of materials maintaining inventory levels and supporting production and customer deliveries.

This is a temp to possible permrole that must be performed on-site. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

The pay is $35.00 to $45.00 an hour based on experience.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Operations or Supply Chain
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with purchasing expediting MRP/ERP systems quality/continuous improvement initiatives manufacturing safety practices and MS Office
• Must have worked in ERP systems
• APICS CPIM/CSCP CPSM certs are a plus (must have a willingness to obtain)
• Experience with procuring raw materials and components
• Experience coordinating inventory planning replenishment and forecasting activities with Production Control Operations Engineering and Sales
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships manage POs delivery schedules expedites and material shortages
• Experience leading supplier negotiations RFQs cost reduction initiatives supplier evaluations and continuous improvement efforts
• Experience with inventory accuracy initiatives supplier evaluations and continuous improvements
