Job Summary

AbbVies Supply Chain Accelerated Learning Experience (SCALE) is a unique opportunity designed to develop the next generation of Supply Chain leaders. As part of our broader Supply Chain Talent Strategy SCALE provides early-career professionals with foundational experiences across key areas of the supply chain while building the business technical and leadership capabilities needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving global environment.

Through a series of rotational assignments participants gain exposure to critical supply chain functions work on meaningful business challenges and develop the skills needed to accelerate readiness for future leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities:

As a participant in the Supply Chain Accelerated Learning Experience (SCALE) you will gain broad exposure to AbbVies global supply chain while contributing to meaningful business initiatives and building the capabilities needed for future leadership opportunities.

  • Analyze supply demand inventory logistics and operational data to identify risks opportunities and solutions that improve business performance.
  • Support planning and execution activities across key supply chain functions including demand planning supply planning logistics manufacturing support and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges and drive alignment across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Develop data-driven insights and recommendations that improve service levels operational efficiency and supply chain effectiveness.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on digital transformation analytics process optimization and operational excellence.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions that create business value.
  • Build foundational expertise in supply chain operations business acumen project management and decision-making within a global healthcare organization.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations project updates and recommendations to stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Develop influential partnerships and strengthen communication stakeholder management and leadership capabilities through collaboration across the organization.
  • Demonstrate continuous growth in supply chain knowledge strategic thinking and leadership potential while preparing for future manager-level opportunities within AbbVies Supply Chain organization.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or closely related field.
  • Must graduate with a bachelors degree prior to the intended full-time start date.
  • Demonstrated leadership through academic extracurricular internship or work experiences.
  • Ability to quickly gain knowledge understanding or skill and willingly absorb and comprehend AbbVie processes policies and methods.
  • Interacts well with diverse groups within engineering and maintains strong working relationship with internal and external collaborators.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in team-based environments.
  • Willingness to participate in rotational assignments and relocate based on business needs.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. 
  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation holidays sick) medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
