As part of our continued growth in North America we are looking for a Supplier Quality & Industrialization Engineer to join ADF US LLC in Mobile Alabama.

In this strategic role you will drive supplier performance manufacturing excellence and quality assurance across complex industrial projects ensuring products are delivered safely on time on quality and within budget.

Supply Chain Management

• Develop and maintain a robust supplier network capable of supporting business growth and project requirements.

• Lead supplier performance management activities focused on:

  • On-Time Delivery (OTD)

  • On-Quality Delivery (OQD)

  • On-Cost Delivery (OCD)

• Evaluate qualify and monitor strategic suppliers and manufacturing partners.

• Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering teams in supplier selection and sourcing decisions.

• Support make-or-buy decisions and industrialization initatives.

• Lead supplier development initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

• Conduct supplier business reviews and performance evaluations.

• Coordinate supplier recovery plans and escalation actions for critical performance issues.

• Support cost optimization initiatives cost modeling and should-cost analysis.

Quality Management

• Establish implement and maintain project quality plans and quality assurance processes.

• Ensure compliance with customer regulatory contractual and company quality requirements.

• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action processes utilizing methodologies such as:

  • 8D

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

• Manage internal and supplier non-conformances from identification through closure.

• Conduct project process and supplier audits.

• Monitor quality KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance.

• Report quality metrics trends and risks to management.

• Ensure effective configuration management and traceability requirements are maintained.

• Verify compliance documentation inspection reports certificates of conformity and technical records.

Supplier Quality & Manufacturing Oversight

• Support manufacturing execution at supplier facilities through regular onsite visits and reviews.

• Monitor fabrication assembly machining welding and integration activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

• Review manufacturing plans inspection plans and acceptance criteria.

• Validate supplier inspection and testing processes.

• Ensure completion and acceptance of First Article Inspections (FAI) receiving inspections and final inspections when applicable.

• Approve product release based on quality and contractual requirements.

• Manage supplier deviation requests waivers and concession processes.

• Ensure supplier quality documentation packages are complete and compliant before delivery to customers.

Project Support

• Participate in proposal development bidding activities and project planning.

• Integrate supply chain and quality requirements into project execution plans.

• Support project reviews quality gates risk assessments and customer acceptance activities.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to identify and mitigate supply chain and quality risks.

• Ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented across projects.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiatives.

• Analyze quality costs supplier performance trends and operational inefficiencies.

• Develop and implement improvement roadmaps that increase efficiency quality and profitability.

• Promote a culture of accountability customer focus and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

This position requires regular travel to supplier facilities and customer sites within the United States and occasional international travel.

The successful candidate will lead supplier quality initiatives oversee supply chain performance manage non-conformances support manufacturing activities at supplier facilities and implement continuous improvement programs to strengthen operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Quality Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Masters degree or MBA is considered an asset.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Supplier Quality Manufacturing Operations or Quality Management.

• Experience working within complex industrial aerospace defense energy machinery or engineered-product environments.

• Proven experience managing supplier performance and leading cross-functional initiatives.

• Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement programs.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:

  Additional qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
