Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced supply chain professional to support manufacturing operations by leading supplier-related issue resolution and mitigating supply chain disruptions. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers to identify risks drive corrective actions and ensure continuity of production. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong background in supplier performance lean manufacturing and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and resolution of supplier-related production disruptions to minimize operational impact.
  • Partner with Purchasing Engineering Manufacturing Logistics and other cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective recovery plans.
  • Conduct detailed root cause investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions for supply chain issues.
  • Identify potential supplier risks through ongoing monitoring and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication with internal stakeholders during critical supply chain events.
  • Utilize Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to strengthen supplier performance and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development of standardized processes best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain organization.
  • Act as a subject matter resource for supplier performance and supply chain risk management across operational teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management Logistics Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (3-5) years of experience in Supplier Quality Supplier Development Supply Chain or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing supplier escalations production recovery efforts and supply chain risk.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and perform effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills sound judgment and a high level of professional integrity.
  • Willingness to travel as needed including occasional short-notice travel to supplier locations.

Salary Range: $

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including but not limited to location the candidates combination of job-related knowledge qualifications skills education training and experience
