Supervisor, Warehouse (Dental Furniture)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving storage inventory control and material movement to meet production and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate material flow and distribution across warehouse locations and production areas to ensure continuity of supply.
• Ensure accurate and timely inventory management including system transactions cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.
• Monitor and drive performance through KPIs (such as; safety quality delivery productivity cost and attendance); communicate results and take corrective action.
• Identify and resolve operational issues related to inventory workflow staffing and material flow; escalate systemic issues as needed.
• Lead coach and develop team members; support performance management training onboarding and employee engagement.
• Manage workforce administration including timekeeping attendance and scheduling to meet operational demands.
• Partner cross-functionally and with HR to address employee relations staffing needs and operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards regulatory requirements and company policies including safe operation of material handling equipment (PIT).
• Drive continuous improvement using lean principles; support cost control inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory control material flow and distribution processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Working knowledge of safety standards and material handling practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving decision-making and prioritization skills.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze performance data and drive corrective actions.
• Proficiency in standard computer and operational systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across shifts and operations.

Education and Experience

• 5 years of experience in warehouse logistics or manufacturing operations.
• 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
• Bachelors degree in supply chain logistics operations business or related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education training and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multi-location or complex warehouse operations.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma or related certification.
