Job Title:Outlet Retail SupervisorSalary: $23.97FLSA Status: Non-ExemptReports to: Outlet ManagerSupervises: Outlet Retail AssociatesLocation: Everett OutletAbout the Position The Outlet Retail Supervisor assists the Outlet Retail Manager in the operation of the Outlet. Responsible for maintaining an optimum level of merchandise Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Complete retail operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more expectations instruct coach and identify training needs. Interview assist with hiring evaluate and discipline workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and reports by collecting documenting and summarizing projects by planning organizing and monitoring productivity by following up with employees on work clear communication with Store a clean work and maintain internal and external customer the functions of Sales Associate when needed. Maintain orderly operations of the store in the absence of the mechanical equipment as assigned (Balers tipper and Electronic Conveyor Belt) Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees of safety requirements; reports any potential hazards or accidents. Perform any other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwills policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Physical Abilities While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required sit for long periods of time communicate with other employees by talking and hearing required to lift and carry items weighing up to 30-40 pounds and to operate computer systems. Developed fine motor control (grasp handle manipulate objects with fingers; frequent bending kneeling reaching stooping squatting pushing; climbing ladders; standing for long periods of time; Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs ramps uneven terrain). Extended standing on hard surfaces; ability to operate heavy machinery is a safe and responsible manner. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
