What youll do...

Material Control Superintendent is a leadership role whose primary responsibility is to lead and develop Material Control Supervisors while overseeing the boarder operation. The primary role of a Material Control Superintendent is to oversee the day-to-day operation of Parts Distribution Center.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage to deadlines and timelines with high degree of planned and unplanned variables and complexities.
• Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best-in-class performance.
• Responsible for managing all operations: Inbound outbound claims processing building maintenance.
• Deliver objectives related to Cost Quality Safety Efficiency Absenteeism and Inventory Accuracy.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Supervise and develop material control supervisors.
• Responsible for all operations including but not limited to: Safety Denials Quality On-time delivery UAW Relationships and Transportation.
• Inventory Management Manage Budgets Facility Management Operational Business Plans Liaison for all external partners.

This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift including nights weekends and holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position.

Youll have...

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn current systems (SAP/EWM)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data evaluate actions and reach logical conclusions independently.
• Goal oriented mindset.
• A continuous Improvement mindset with a focus on quality and reduced costs.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to ensure accountability from all employees.

• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years operational experience preferred.

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74300-$124500.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86600-$144900.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99100-$166200.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidates skills and experience and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope responsibility and competitive market value.
