Summer EHS Intern

Ready to turn classroom learning into realworld experience Kennametals Bedford PA manufacturing facility is seeking a Summer Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to gain handson experience in a fastpaced metals manufacturing environment.

The Bedford facility produces Earth Cutting Tools including tungsten carbide and steel products used in mining construction and specialized engineering applications.

What Youll Do

• Contribute to the EHS Site Standards Continuous Improvement Initiative
• Assist with machine guarding and minor servicing programs
• Support Emergency Action Plan updates
• Participate in industrial health monitoring (noise dust fume)
• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate job safety analyses
• Perform HAZCOM audits (labels SDS management training)
• Support environmental compliance activities including Industrial Wastewater NPDES and Air Emissions recordkeeping
• Complete other EHS projects as assigned
