Position Purpose
Gain hands-on engineering experience by design changes to support manufacturing operations and helping solve technical challenges that affect production efficiency. Work alongside experienced engineers to identify opportunities for process improvements investigate production issues and assist with design changes that improve productivity quality and workflow performance.

- Develop problem-solving and analytical skills using real production challenges.
- Learn engineering investigation and root-cause analysis techniques.
- Participate in design reviews and process improvement activities.
- Build experience with engineering documentation data analysis and project management tools.
- Present project results and recommendations to engineering and operational teams.
Qualifications
Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Preferred skills:
Experience with CAD software data analysis tools (coding python) or manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma concepts.
Previous engineering project co-op laboratory or internship experience.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelors degree or higher.
- Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
- Rotation Requirements: Juniors 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students 1 rotation.
- Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 1416 weeks (spring and fall).
- Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
- Must have reliable transportation.
